Restoring pressurized lines is the process of applying a layer of epoxy on the interior of the pressurized pipes with an epoxy coating. Using NuFlow’s technology allows you to restore aged, corroded piping systems and copper pipes that have pinhole leaks.
The epoxy coating works by being applied to the interior of the pipe; it will seal and protect the system from further deterioration, which in the end dramatically extends the system’s life. This application process can be used on a variety of pipe materials, which include galvanized steel, cast/black iron, copper and even lead.
NuFlow’s epoxy coating is patented and is like none other found on the market today. With this non-invasive procedure residents and workers are able to continue with their daily activities, preventing displacement, business closure and pipe system downtime.
The process is easy and not an inconvenience for our customers. We first drain the water out of the piping system and then run dry heated air through the pipes to ensure the removal of the moisture in the pipes. We then sand blast them clean removing all of the corrosion built up and create an anchor tooth for the epoxy to adhere to. Once the pipe is fully cleaned we then apply an epoxy coating system to the piping system with filter instrument quality air until the pipe is fully coated creating a barrier coating between the water and the pipe eliminating future corrosion.
